Pre- and Post-care for Secret Pro CO2 or CO2 with RF Microneedling treatment
For optimal results, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- 
      
      - Refrain from wearing makeup on the day of your treatment. 
- Ensure any excess hair is removed; men should be cleanly shaved. 
- Avoid direct sun exposure for 4 weeks prior to treatment; this includes being in direct sun anytime of year without adequate sun protection, tanning beds. 
- Avoid ANY and ALL false tan/fake tan/faux tan products for a minimum of 14 days prior to treatment. This includes any application or using any self-tanning products or treatments. This includes any spray tans, tanning lotions/gels/creams/powders/serums/water/drops, bronzing lotions, skin stains, and all GRADUAL tanning lotions/gels/creams/powders/serums/water/drops 
- Discontinue use of skin irritants such as products containing tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, vitamin C/ascorbic acid, and astringents in the days leading up to and following your treatment 
- Notify Clinic of any blood thinner use. Discontinue with permission - use of blood thinners a few days before treatment 
- Notify the clinic of any changes to your health history or medications since your last appointment. 
- If you have a history of herpes or cold sores, you may need an anti-viral prescription started at least 4 days prior to treatment. 
 
- 
      
      - Refrain from washing your face for a minimum of 6-8 hours post-treatment. 
- Gently wash and pat dry the skin twice a day until any crusting naturally exfoliates or sloughs off. Always use clean towels that have not been shared with others in the household 
- Apply a mild, fragrance-free moisturizing cream to the treated area twice daily for up to 2 weeks or until fully healed. 
- Avoid forcibly removing any visible fine scabs or crusting that develop 3 to 5 days after your treatment. 
- Expect some redness, dryness, swelling, and discomfort for 2 to 3 days post-treatment. 
- Apply sunblock every 3 to 4 hours for at least 2 weeks to a month following your procedure to minimize UV-induced pigmentation. 
- Refrain from wearing face masks until any fine scabbing or crusting has naturally exfoliated or sloughed off (typically within 5 days). 
- Avoid use of skin irritants such as products containing tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, vitamin C/ascorbic acid, and astringents for 7-10 days post-treatment. 
- Avoid sauna sessions and vigorous exercises for 1-2 weeks. 
- Consider keeping your skin cool and hydrated by occasionally spraying with cold water during the healing process. 
- Stay well-hydrated and drink plenty of water. 
- Understand that multiple treatments may be necessary for desired results. 
- Inform the clinic of any concerns such as blistering, excessive redness/swelling, or persistent grid patterns. 
- Consult with the clinic regarding when to resume your regular skincare routine 
- Follow any additional instructions provided by your clinician.

Additional Charge; Failing to adhere to the pre-treatment guidelines will result in the missed appointment fee due in-order to rescheule further treatments. This includes determining on treatment day, that we cannot proceed with scheduled treatment for failing to adhere to guidelines.
