How much pain will I have? |

This will vary based on the complexity of the procedure and the level of your pain tolerance. Every attempt will be made to minimize pain with appropriate medication. In many cases, local anesthetic is injected into the incision before the procedure ends, in order to provide for six to eight hours of pain relief, so that the medication prescribed can be started.
